Dec 15, 2007 · Rota wheels...to buy or not to buy? I switching up my set-up, and going from 18'' to 17''. I am having a hard time finding dark (black,gunmetal) rims. I found some JDM ones that are mucho $$, but it seems that there are alot of Rotas (used) on the market. Even though if you go to some of the big vendors, they are all out of stock..why is this?

Jan 4, 2011 · Its more about the style than the brand. I have a set of Rota Subzero and it does get bend and cracked easily. The thin spoke right at the lip give no flex and all and it was doomed to be cracked. The above Rota grid are way better design for strength. To me Rota are too expensive already.

Jun 29, 2008 · Has anyone had any experience with Rota alloys? Rota is the defacto aftermarket brand in Canada/US for Subaru's I'd say. Enough people run them that its well known they are a solid reliable brand of wheel at a reasonable price. I run them as my daily drivers and have a couple of track sets.
