Oryx the Mad God is the main antagonist in Realm of the Mad God. He has three increasingly stronger forms. This page describes his first incarnation that is encountered in Oryx’s Chamber. After players defeat all of certain quest monsters in a realm, Oryx will seal off entry to the realm.

Oryx 3 can be considered the “final boss” and the most difficult enemy in Realm of the Mad God. Oryx 3 is a source for the highest-tiered equipment in the game: one of two sources for Tier 14 Weapons and Tier 14 Armor, and the only source for Tier 7 Abilities.

Oryx the Mad God 2, referred in-game as Oryx the Mad God (same as his previous incarnation), or colloquially as Oryx 2 or O2, is the boss of the Wine Cellar and Oryx’s second-strongest form.

The Agents of Oryx Abilities are untiered ability items, themed on Oryx the Mad God and his minions. They each have a 7% XP bonus and 700 feed power. These items were introduced in Release X.34.1.0 (June 2020), available via collecting 15 Shards of the Intern and consuming them for an Agents of Oryx Ability chosen at random.
