Rosie and Jim are two rag dolls who live aboard a narrowboat called the Ragdoll. There, they sit with a concertina on their lap and come alive when no one is looking to explore the world that they pass by on rivers and canals across England.

Jun 19, 2022 · She remembers the song as "and Patchy steers the boat" and I remember it as "and John who steers the boat". We settled it with a YouTube video only to find there have been multiple people who steer The Old Rag Doll! John was the first (and also the creator of Rosie and Jim and postman Pat) and Patchy was one of the later ones!
