Ronal is the Tsahìk of the Metkayina clan and mate of Tonowari. With her husband, she is the mother of the free-divers, Aonung, Tsireya and an unborn child. She also is the spiritual sister of the tulkun, Ro'a.

The fiercely independent tsahìk (shaman) of the Metkayina reef clan, Ronal provides spiritual support and leads all ceremonies for her clan. Outside of her tsahìk responsibilities, Ronal is also an expert hunter and warrior and will do what she must to protect her people.
