Jun 10, 2005 · Has anyone used 12-4 or 14-4 NM cable with two neutrals? I've seen it advertised for running two AFCI circuits. I was wondering if it is cost effective?

Sep 6, 2013 · In the code book it says that you can install Romex if permitted as a Type 3, 4 or 5 building, but if it is permitted as a type 1 building you can not install Romex. Although IF the building can be a type 3,4 or 5 building you can in fact install Romex. Can someone interpret this code 334 for me?

May 12, 2021 · As far as SER it seems that #4 is the best choice for a 60 amp feeder cable, (if we can use 75 degrees) since it is usually readily available, and #4 romex would be severe overkill.

Jun 26, 2006 · I was wondering if there is any restriction to installing romex wire in conduit? The code states you can do it for physical protection. So is there any ruling against running it in conduit when there is no need for protection? Thank you for your help

Jan 25, 2011 · Benton, the best thing to do is, is and actual take off from your print. If it's a paper print, buy a scale wheel to measure home-runs. If its digital, buy software where you can do on line take offs. Most assemblies have 15' of romex allowance. Count the devices and multiply. Measure the distance for home-runs.
