Oct 15, 2020 · IMHO, the Romeo 2 is cool but unless you're planning on playing out in the mud, I don't see the need for it. It looks like the biggest difference between the Romeo 2 and the Romeo 1 Pro is the addition of the added hoods. I'm not out in the rain much and rarely in the mud so I wouldn't use the additional hoods. My Romeo 1 Pro works just fine.
Romeo X Enclosed Pro VS Romeo 2 - SIG Talk
Jul 6, 2024 · The Romeo 2 is a convertible optic- it has an installable, clear polycarbonate cowl that, along with the bigger of two included shrouds, encloses the rear of the optic. But I feel an enclosed optic should be permanently sealed like the Enclosed X-Pro, and not convertible from open to closed like the R2.

Romeo 2 Torque Screwdriver - SIG Talk
Dec 24, 2023 · I recently added a Romeo 2 to my M18, used the included driver. I was not impressed with the quality of the actual bit in the driver as one of the splines broke off before reaching the slip. Of course I was slightly concerned so I chucked a new bit in my calibrated in/lb torque wrench and it was right in the 27-28 in/lb ballpark.
Romeo 2 Pro - SIG Talk
Oct 13, 2022 · I would just buy another Sig pistol with optics already mounted like the Romeo pro 1, for about $800 to $900 get new pistol and new sight that can be moved to other sig pistols. That way 2 new items (pistol and sight) vs just a new sight alone for the money.
Finally some reliable Romeo 2 news | SIG Talk
Nov 16, 2020 · The only difference from the actual DPP footprint is the R2 doesn't have the front 2 recoil boss witness holes. The side loading battery tray lives there, and allows the R2 to sit low enough in the slide cut to co-witness with a suppressor height front sight on the M17 pistol.

Nov 10, 2024 · My wife is purchasing the new Sig flux & is undecided on the optic. She wants the Romeo Gen 2. It comes in two variants. One is the tall I beam mount & the other is the co witness mount. Any pros or cons on either? I am not familiar with the Romeo optics so I am looking for good advice. Thanks.
