Dec 8, 2016 · I updated a private channel with updated in-package home screen icons, and also updated the "Channel Poster" on the "Channel Store Info" screen. My Roku got the private channel update however I still see the previous home screen icon. Any details about how to update and control the update of the home screen icons would be very much appreciated.

Feb 20, 2025 · What worked for me was to go into the Roku app on my iphone, then goto "Devices", then click on "Apps on Roku" and the YouTube app icon was present the way that it should've been on my Home Screen on my actual Roku and TV. Then I long-pressed / held-down the YT icon, and was taken to a screen where I finally had the option to "Remove" the app.
