Jan 10, 2023 · - Verify that you have Motion-Activated Lights toggled on in your Cameras Light Settings. Light Settings can be found in your Cameras Device Settings. - You also want to make sure you have your Motion Zones for Lights on. This can be found in your Light Settings as well.

Oct 1, 2019 · I tried the electrical tape and it worked for the blue light, but there is also a red light visible in a dark room. I think the red light is an infrared light that illuminates a dark room. When I covered both the blue and the red light, I no longer had illumination in the dark room, and I might have also covered the sensor that detects motion.

Jun 12, 2024 · Try checking under Device Settings > Light Settings to make sure that Motion-Activated Lights are toggled on. Under the Light Settings menu, you can also check the Motion Zones for Lights to make sure they aren't disabled. Lastly, the Light Sensitivity can also be adjusted to be more sensitive if needed. Oct 17, 2020 · We can’t be the only ones? I have 3 floodlight cams and 2 are always on garage lights but one is my porch light and it constantly cycles on and off all night. I’ve tried turning everything off. I’m about to just yank it and disconnect the lights. I came On the forum to Find out if anybody has rewired ir with a lower 800lumen light.

Aug 8, 2020 · Hi I have a Spotlight cam that used to work perfectly. Now, the light comes on at night all the time. I switch it off on the app but it comes on again. If I snooze, or turn off the motion sensor the light still comes on and it sometimes comes on and stays on during the day.

Nov 21, 2024 · I am the owner. The new version from about a week ago - 5.79.0. We buy floodlights needing the ability to quickly turn them on and off as needed. Honestly, it should be illegal for ring to take away basic features like this. Kind of violates the understood contract customers have when purchasing any floodlight.
