For those of you who use Rhofade daily, what is your routine
Dec 6, 2022 · Also, you should be aware that using Rhofade doesn't improve your rosacea in the long-term. It just makes you look better on the days you use it. If that's not the effect you're after, maybe you shouldn't use it. Also, some people have complained that Rhofade causes rebound redness, although it seems less bad than Mirvaso.

I was just told by my pharmacy (Apotheco Pharmacy Choice Las Vegas) that Rhofade has been discontinued. Super frustrating since I've tried SO many products (mirvaso, soolantra, metro, many other compounds) that haven't worked for me.

How can you tell if Rhofade is causing rebound redness or not?
Aug 8, 2021 · Rhofade made my redness/flushing pattern change and made both worse. And made me develop a horrible heat intolerance that I still can’t shake. After my bad reaction to Rhofade for 4 months I was flushing daily and my skin burned and stinged. My skin was never like that before Rhofade. I rarely flushed and it was only with very specific triggers.

Jun 17, 2023 · Rhofade is not the mainstay treatments for rosacea. Many derms on social media admit it provides only temporary relief and has risks of rebound redness. Usually treatment plan includes antibiotics like doxy and topicals - azelaic acid, metronidazole gel etc that can bring the rosacea under control along with good skin care routine.

That being said, I got a new refill and my skin has been reacting really poorly. I’m not sure if Rhofade changed their formula or ingredients.

Aug 26, 2023 · Unfortunately they no longer have the coupon because they’ve completely paused production of the rhofade, so the medicine isn’t even available for pharmacies to order. Some compounding pharmacies are currently able to compound alternatives that differ in strength or contain other active ingredients as well.

Rhofade worked for me for a couple of days, but the rebound redness was horrible. I used it for less than a week. My face was like yours. Fortunately, the redness subsided after a day. I recommend stop using all products for a few days. Hopefully, the redness subsides. Then add products back one at a time. Do not use the Rhofade.
