Bikes are sized by measuring your inseam. This is the distance between the bottom of your foot and your groin. Your inseam should be around one inch more than the top tube of the bike, a measurement known as the bike’s “standover height.” (Essentially, when you stand over the bike, there should be around one inch of clearance between your groin and the top tube.)
