Feb 16, 2019 · Use the bloomsac raft to get to the Sinkwood Inn. It's in the middle of the lake, on the little island, North of the Blushwood Forest. Investigate the inn and do the quest there. As a reward, the Historian will give you the knowledge to make a Reed Boat, which you can use to travel around the coast. It's much faster too.

Jul 23, 2020 · The boat steers in the direction you're looking, rather than responding to keyboard keys. This is true for the bloomsac raft, but not for the reed boat. The reed boat has its own forward separate from where the player is looking, and rotates with left and right.

Mar 18, 2024 · It's best just to walk around in Howling caverns to pick up canvas and boards or to pick up something important for a quest. There are also 2 other reasons that it is important to just walk around in the caverns rather than using the Reed boat inside. I won't spoil it for you by telling you what the reasons are.

You get the plans for the reed boat on the small island in the large lake. To get there you have to build a raft. You get the plans for that from a kid on a raft right after the toll bridge .

Feb 24, 2019 · Ok, I still can't steer my boat and I don't know what WASD is. I am trying to boat over to where dad is, but I can't seem to steer my boat and I am stuck the second day now. I understand how to go forward and back the other direction, but only in straight lines. I don't seem to be able to steer at all.

Feb 15, 2019 · Yes, always repack boats and your cycle. Otherwise you may lose them. Reeds may be found at most (not all) beaches.

For this achievement you need to have unlocked the Reed Boat from the quest "The Thief of Sinkwood Inn". The boat can be crafted with 10 Heavy Reeds, 1 stick and 4 twine. Twine is unlocked from completion of the quest "A Raft from Bloomsac". When you have the Reed Boat sail to the "Oceans Breath" which is to the north on the map.

Jan 6, 2022 · There are portions of the play area which don't seem to have been tested for reed-boat access properly. It's easy to find a portion where you end up 'under the map'. However you are meant to be able to use the reedboat all around the island. And indeed there's an achievement you'll only complete if you try this and act on what you find.
