I only spoke with Richard once, and his daughter a few times, but they were both very nice people.

Nov 1, 2014 · anyone seen the new knives from red trout cutlery? just snagged a desert ironwood. boys knife just like latest from csc co-op. read their master cutler made a very limited edition for a gentlemen who wanted his own tang stamp and shield. limited info on his forum store. didn't score a csc co-op, but this may be even better.

Jan 26, 2016 · Rich "Red Trout" Lanigan has unfortunately passed away so no more of these will be made. Your best shot is to either try the secondary market or look into Alber's Cutlery Company which is owned and operated by @ea42, who made the Red Trout knives for Rich.
