Red is the fourth studio album by British pop-rock group T'Pau, which was released by Gnatfish in 1998. As the first T'Pau album since 1991's The Promise, Red features singer Carol Decker as the only member from the original line-up. This was not issued in the U.S.

When Portuguese explorers found Paubrasilia on the coast of South America, they recognised it as a relative of an Asian species of sappanwood already used in Europe for producing red dye. The Portuguese named these trees pau-brasil, the term pau meaning wood, and brasil meaning reddish/ember-like.

Quickly signed to Virgin's Siren subsidiary, the group released their debut single, "Heart and Soul," in early 1987 with little fanfare. After the song was used in a Pépe jeans commercial, however, it became a Top Five hit on both sides of the Atlantic.

Jun 4, 2019 · My favourite pau would either be the one with lotus or red bean filling, but they do an amazing Char Siew Pau (S$0.90) here. The meat filling is generous, with a good ratio of meat to fat. I like how the sweet barbecued pork is not too overwhelming, with a smoky and savoury taste for a well-balanced bite.
