Nov 23, 2023 · On the Multitarget, the recoil pad is a standard Beretta microcellular target pad with various thickness available and it sits directly on top of the KO or spring action recoil absorbing unit. You can't remove the KO without having a huge reduction in length of pull. I do believe Beretta sells a hard plastic spacer that can replace the KO unit.

Jun 8, 2020 · My trap guns have the Browning curved recoil pads on them. I like them. That curve finds its way to the sweet spot in my shoulder. Not sure what kind of pad is on a CXT. XT's, Special Traps and BT-99 have the same pad. At least mine do. I have a Microcell coming for a Citori Sporting Clay.

Aug 31, 2023 · Use epoxy to glue the spacer to the pad, and use a small lightly-applied line of epoxy on the spacer to secure the unit to the stock. Be sure to make the necessary holes in the spacer to accomodate the stock wrench. If you need to do this in the future on a different gun where you need to reshape the pad and spacer unit, glue the two together and shape them as a unit to fit the stock.
