Mar 20, 2020 · Going back to the RE5 version of Chris feels like a step backward from the realistic presentation of RE7. It appears that everything else in RE8 is going to stick to the aesthetic status quo of RE7, EXCEPT Chris. Having seen and played as the RE7 version of Chris makes the backdated version stick out like a sore thumb.

From what I’ve spoiled about RE8’s ending, I feel like we may be seeing Jill and possibly other prior characters (like Barry) who have ties to the BSAA.

Jan 28, 2020 · Like, when you play as Chris in the previous games before RE7, although you control Chris you also see him do things from your own perspective, and you experience the game together with Chris. Chris becomes your friend, you connect to him and you feel for him when bad things happen to him. You cheer for him when good things happen.
