Emma helped/helps him to see that there can be another way and this gives Ray great joy once they escape. He believes things can be done without sacrificing the ones you love most.

However, to an extent, the friendship between Ray, Norman and Emma can be considered to be the same level. Willing to die and to sacrifice others to live is quite something insane enough for a normal kid to think of. Hence, I don't think it is infatuation, but rather, just TPN's kids' things.

If Ray succeeded in destroying the transmitter from his left ear (because the destruction of the tracker alerted Isabella), then shouldn't it have been re-installed?

Apr 4, 2020 · I don't read a lot of mangas, but perhaps, Hunter x Hunter fans and Naruto fans would not disagree with me. 😕 They would say, TPN is a replica of Hunter x Hunter on the "Chimera Arc", or TPN is a replica of "Naruto" because: Emma=Sakura Ray=Sasuke Norman=Naruto. And, Ray vs Norman = Sasuke vs Naruto. 😑
