Aug 20, 2019 · WOW is the s16 a sleeper looks like quite a performer and may be harder to find than a s19 is this s16 as good as the rest of the rans planes but much faster and it looks to be able to handle much more engine weight. Maybe someone can chime in on the skinny as to performance. Now looks like a choice between the s19 and 16.

W/ Rans, all of their models qualified for LSA, except the S16 Shekari. Many to choose from. Nos. spread across the board, S6S, 6ES, 7, 12S, 12XL, 14, until the 19 LSA came out. But it is also a little pricey. Recently a friend noted that the RANS S-19 might be a good fit and I took a little harder look, and it could indeed be an option. But, there seems no real presence of the S-19, or any support in my area (Southern Michigan, just north of Toledo, Ohio). So I was wondering if anyone can compare the S-19 to the Sling 2.
