Apr 5, 2022 · Rabbitfolk was the name used in the Unearthed Arcana document Folk of the Feywild. They were renamed "Harengon" when they were officially published in the adventure Wild Beyond the Witchlight. I believe there are a few mechanical differences between the two, but I don't know what they are.

Aug 10, 2021 · Rabbitfolk is no longer a trendy playable race in 5e or in Verum. They have been delivered as a playtest race in Unearthed Arcana for 5e in 2021. Arcadium allowed them to be chosen to perform in a flow game. Thus they do not have authentic Verum stats or lore but are different from being a new kind of Skinwalker.
