Sep 4, 2020 · The good thing about the pass through coolers is that they obstruct flow less, meaning you have to push the air less hard to achieve the same velocity over the fins. heat transfer from a radiator fin is a function of the velocity of the fluid, the temperature difference, and material properties for the fluid and radiator.
