Depends. Personally, I like both weapons. If I wanna kill zombies with something powerful, then the Hamr would be ur choice (even tho it has high recoil). If u wanna fuck around and rank up points, then go with the rpd. Carries more ammo than the hamr, less damage, (and also has recoil but not as bad as the hamr)

Aug 12, 2013 · Aside from training, prioritize yourself. Start with weapons-perks. If you're not too great at training, try getting to the bar/apartments as a choke point. If training, use either M&S or Ray Gun if you can. If going to a choke point, RPD, HAMR, or Executioner.

RPD only gains a larger magazine after PaP, HAMR can get a red dot, grip or others and can be PaP again, which is another advantage of the HAMR. Also, HAMR fires it's first 7 or 8 rounds at a higher rate than the following, allowing for a higher RoF if you burst manually.
