The UL Class RK1 fuse is current limiting fuse that is rated to interrupt a minimum of 200,000 amps. The RK1 fuse is rated at either 250 volts AC or 600 volts AC and is available in fast acting or time delay versions.

Fast-acting, nonindicating UL Class RK1 fuses open within seconds of being exposed to overloads and short circuits. Also called fast-blow Class RK1 fuses, they are highly sensitive to changes in current flow and don't tolerate temporary overload currents or power surges.

Time-delay, nonindicating UL Class RK1 fuses tolerate temporary inrush currents without opening, which prevents nuisance-blowing from motor and equipment startups. Also called slow-blow Class RK1 fuses, they open to disconnect an electrical circuit when exposed to sustained loads and short circuits.
