Jan 7, 2009 · So I plug the audio cable (from computers analog 2ch audio out, green) into the DVI/RGB audio input on the back of the TV and my HDMI cable (carrying video only, from the vid card) into HDMI 1. Then start the computer. Voila, sound and 1080p/24 output on the HDMI 1 input. Hope it helps.

From this forum I found out that I can use AUDIO IN (RGB/DVI) in the TV to get the audio during this RGB input mode. Jan 20, 2016 · The older the model the better because RGB input used to exist via scart but this was reduced a couple of model generations ago to composite input only... until scart was removed altogether in this seasons model. The whole home recording market is now configured so that broadcast content cannot 'cross platforms'.

Basically they are MGG 28 EQ models, but are rgb only. I need to be able to connect to these monitors as individual units. Ideally with dvd players, but possibly with pc or mac laptops etc.

Even if your device supports RGB Full the internal processing will be in 4:2:2. At last when connecting with RGB (PC mode) most of the tvs enhanchements and video processing are disabled.
