Jan 6, 2018 · Dumas Mr Darby Tugboat wood kit with fiberglas Hull fittings and fixtures as well as the plans/build manual. All new and never started. I believe the hull is from harbor models. Which is a exact replica of the hull from Dumas. Actually harbor models owns the manufacturer rights to the Darby tug! All dimensions are an exact match.

This wood is cosmetically unsuitable for our larger models. Using this wood allows us to sell these kits at a really low price. With a price tag of $29, we will have to agree!

Jul 13, 2019 · It was built from the short-lived “RC version” of the kit. I used the kit-supplied modified servo, shaft set, and vinyl tubing coupler. I build my little plastic conversions as sealed units. The only opening into the hull is the aft deck piece the stack is glued to. That gives me access to the on-off switch and the battery charging connector.
