Sep 1, 2012 · Wondering as I've seen a Quad 66 CD player for sale but its unknown if its working, no remote. If its cheap enough I was thinking of buying it and getting it serviced just to try it. That would work out about the same cost as buying a working one but knowing it has been serviced.

Dec 11, 2013 · Does anybody have any experience with the Quad CD66? I can remember the CD67 being well regarded, but I don't remember reading much about the 66. Any reliability issues? Would Quad still be able to service it and get parts, especially if the laser needed replacing? What would be a fair price to expect to pay SH?
