The Quantitative Sciences Unit (QSU) at Stanford University has a rich history that began in 2009 when Dr. Manisha Desai established the unit as its Founding Director in response to a growing demand for strong statistical collaboration on studies conducted in the Department of Medicine within Stanford’s School of Medicine.

The Queer Student Union at Indiana University aims to empower LGBTQ+ students through community building and advocacy at IU. We are undergraduate & graduate students dedicated to the advancement of queer livelihood and intersectionality in all forms.

QSU is a non-exclusive organization that strives to promote acceptance, understanding, and unity among the LGBTQ+ community and with other communities at Drexel University, as well as within the city of Philadelphia.

As the largest group of biostatisticians on campus, the QSU is central to research across multiple departments and disciplines, providing essential statistical expertise in studies ranging from clinical trials to population health and genetic epidemiology.
