hi Qwertykeys, i’m looking at the new QK65v2 and even watched some reviews on it. why do the sound signature of the V2 differs from the deep, marbly, and thocky signature of the original QK65? the V2 seems to sound higher pitched generally.

Apr 21, 2022 · Zoom65 R2 has more pastel colors, while the QK65 restock has solid colors. QK65 also offers more weight options. The QK65 features gasket socks and gasket jackets (silicone for both), but the Zoom65 only offers the gaskets (foam i'm assuming). You'll also be able to choose which plate with you want without upping the cost on the QK65.

If you look at the price of the Zoom65, then actually subtract what comes bundled, keycaps, stabilizers, switches, etc, the kit only comes out at around to like $100ish. Doesn't look so great imo.
