Qiang Ji received his Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Systems engineering at RPI.

I received my Ph.D. in December 2024 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), advised by Prof. Qiang Ji. During my PhD, I worked on dynamic probabilistic models for human action recognition, including complex activity recognition, online action detection, action anticipation, gait recognition, open-set action recognition, etc.

I have beeing working as a research assistant at Intelligent System Lab with Professor Qiang Ji since 2017, and have been a scholar in RPI-IBM AIRC program since 2019.
