Qara (female chaotic neutral human sorceress) is a companion in Neverwinter Nights 2 official campaign. "With a sharp tongue and a short fuse, Qara has a large fiery personality trapped in a petite body.

When you meet Qara, she'll be in the middle of an argument with two Academy students, Glina and Hetha. You'll have two ways of handling the encounter: you can either convince Glina and Hetha to leave peacefully, or else you can encourage a fight and then kill them.

Qara emphasizes Concentration, Craft Alchemy, Lore, and Spellcraft. Starting Feats: 9th level: Craft Magic Arms and Armor - Craft Wondrous Items wouldn't be a good idea for a Sorceress, because there's a much greater diversity of spells involved with crafting wondrous items.

Leave the Flagon with Qara a first time, and you ll get attacked by Paven and some academy students. Leave the Flagon with Qara a second time and you ll attacked by Arnie and more academy students. Chances are you ll lose a party member or two to the overwhelming numbers of spells thrown at you.

As an arcane caster, Qara has access to some devastatingly powerful spells right off the bat, and as a Sorcerer she can cast her spells multiple times a day. Unfortunately her spell list is limited: if you prefer flexibility or want to cast something other than Fireball, you're out of luck.
