Pyongan Province (Korean: 평안도; Hanja: 平安道; IPA: [pʰjʌŋando]) was one of Eight Provinces of Korea during the Joseon dynasty. Pyongan was located in the northwest of Korea. The provincial capital was Pyongyang.
