PXG Gen 4 0811x Driver - Equipment - GolfWRX
Jul 11, 2021 · The PXG fitter was extremely knowledgable, tried a multitude of different shafts, lengths and weight setups until we got it right. I think the fit had as much to do with the gains as the upgrade itself, but the ball speed increases were undeniable.
PXG 0811X+ prototype driver - Equipment - GolfWRX
Aug 10, 2020 · The PXG, for me, is more open/neutral and I hit a few more pushes than I’d like. It was very close in terms of spin, launch and flight to the G410, but sounded and looked much better. Better than all of them was the SiM Max, but that’s another issue.
PXG 0811X Gen 2 driver versus Taylormade M5 - GolfWRX
Feb 7, 2019 · I never even considered buying PXG until I played Willamette Valley CC and met a PXG mobile fitter. Super nice guy and is offering me a hell of a full bag deal. I was swinging an M3 driver and compared it against the PXG 0811X and the PXG had a way tighter dispersion and spun less. Can anyone attest or have compared the M5 to the new PXG drivers?
PXG 0811 driver weight configuration - what's yours?
Aug 28, 2021 · I have nothing to add that’s helpful but I just picked up a Proto x with hzrdus smoke green 6.5 70g playing at 46” which coming from a 44” build in last driver feels like it’s a long drive build, I have been playing in flat “pxg” with 12.5G in heel 2.5G in rest of the ports, I think the shaft is a bit stiff for me as I’ve hit a few in the 290+ range but only if I’m super loose ...
PXG Gen4 Driver Advice - Equipment - GolfWRX
Aug 18, 2021 · I own several PXG drivers (couple are mine, couple are my boys). I have played dozens of rounds with the Gen4 0811X, XF and the 0211 with lots of different weight settings, adpater settings and shafts. Based on my experience, I would go with the 0811X not the XF. The X is hotter. The forgiveness between the X & XF is hard to notice imo.

Pxg 0811x proto driver sweet spot? - Equipment - GolfWRX
Sep 3, 2021 · With my 0811X+ the best configuration I have found so far (still experimenting) is with the 12.5g in the heel and the adapter set at the PXG, 3° flat, setting. Without going up or down in loft thus going flat to some degree, I, too, tended to hit everything toward the heel.
PXG 2021 0211 versus Gen4 0811 - Equipment - GolfWRX
Jul 20, 2021 · For me, the PXG was the better club, just through consistency, accuracy and the face height at address. The sim is much more shallow and miss is slightly high on the face, plus the PXG seems more neutral over the SIM which likes to go right. For what its worth, I'm a 1 hcp and find the 0211 more forgiving than both the SIM and SIM Max.
PXG 0811x Gen2 vs...... - Equipment - GolfWRX
Aug 19, 2019 · Had a Gen 1 0811x and loved it, the ho in me sold it. Been gaming the 16’ M2 with AD IZ shaft for most part of past 2 years and just bought a Gen 2 0811x with same shaft to compare. Will update you when I hit them on course this weekend. Always have loved the sound and feel of PXG drivers.
