As far as the Puttee, it is flat out worthless imo. There are some interesting perk builds you can make work with it, turning her into a speed demon. But those builds just defeat her power's purpose.

Ancient Romans wore puttee style woolen strip leg wrappings they called fascia, all the way up to their thighs sometimes. Soldiers especially, they sometimes wore them in lieu of metal greaves during battle, but mostly in cold weather, as they did not wear pants during this time period (Republic early Principate).

In general, a good puttee will have some stretch to it, so it can hug your leg. Puttees made from cotton, felt, and other non-stretchy material tend to be harder to wrap. The second factor I see being an issue is the shape of your leg.

Nov 27, 2016 · Gaiters were around long before WWI, and infantrymen did not have them. A gaiter is a piece of clothing, a puttee is a wrap. And actually puttees replaced gaiters again for at least a little while for British Armed forces in the 70s - 80s. It's not so cut and dried!

Although the current boots are low drop, think there is some comfort gains to be had with trail runners. Especially if trail runners can be augmented with additional protection of puttee, a lighter and more stowable version of gaiters.
