Nov 9, 2021 · In the Pride IF, Reinhardt only met him once at the end. Never meeting Subaru before, Reinhardt was 100% ready to put him down. In the Wrath IF, Reinhardt met Subaru once at the loot house, then again in Pandamonium where he seems surprised/disappointed that Subaru is the Purge King.

So basically take Roswaal's mindset on love and change and stick it with his self-preservation and the trust issues he had from arc 2: having the people who were kind to him change and try to kill him.

In Pride if, Subaru Never calls for help and tries to Solve all the issues of Loothouse by himself. In Canon timeline, Subaru chose the Virtue of Patience which corresponds to the Sin of Wrath.

The world is so fucked, the situation is so horrible yet, is the one where Subaru is happy, is debatable if Subaru and Rem are really happy, but if you read the months chapters of the Rem:IF I think Subaru does get resolution, at least he (though I'd say Rem too) is genuinely happy, such wholesome stories, such a pretty life, such a big cost
