Dec 19, 2024 · Does anyone have experience with Springfield Armory commercial M1 Garands made by the commercial company Springfield Armory in the mid to late 1980s? I came across one for $850. I came across one in almost new shape for $800. At this point I want a Garand just to own one and for occasional shooting. I would rather buy this than

CMP Affiliated Clubs - CMP Forums
Nov 9, 2022 · My dad would like to purchase a 1911 from the CMP. Finding an affiliated gun club is proving difficult. Stated on the website is that there are affiliated clubs for around 20 dollars. Location of SA-52 Re-arsenal Program - CMP Forums
Jan 13, 2015 · Well I have to punt. I dug the SA52 out of the safe and gave it a serious look. The barrel is not in the white. It has the same silvery finish as the receiver so looked in white at first glance. It has a RRAD square rebuild mark on the stock and no etching on the leg. So, no telling if stock is right. BTW, it is a 3.7M receiver.
Remington Model 11 Riot Shotgun - CMP Forums
Nov 29, 2009 · I have seen Remington 11's with the ordnance markings you describe from time to time on the used rack at my local gun shop. From what I've read they were used to train anti-aircraft gunners. The ribbed barrel and gamebird etchings would designate your example as a sporting model; you're right that the barrel was most likely shortened at some point.
40X vs 40XB - CMP Forums
According to Blue Book of Gun Values the Remington 40X was made between 1956 and 1964, came with or without Olympic sights, 28 inch barrel, and had bed adjusting screws. The Blue Book also shows a 40XB made between 1964 and 1974, no sights, 28 inch barrel, does not mention bed adjusting screws. My 2 40X's barrel date codes are 10/1964 and 03/1965.
