The eating clubs offer juniors and seniors the opportunity to become a part of a close-knit community. They reinforce existing friendships while also introducing you to a wonderful, new, and diverse group of Princetonians.

Researched and created by award-winning, Princeton-based author and historic preservation consultant Clifford W. Zink, The Princeton Eating Clubs portrays the eleven extant private Eating Clubs plus five former clubhouses now operated by the University for academic purposes.

The Princeton Eating Clubs are happy to welcome new members for the spring. The chart below shows the fees and policies that were established for the 2024-2025 academic year. Sophomore fees are updated for Spring 2025, and Tiger Points can be used for sophomore dues.

The Princeton Eating Clubs are independent, private institutions without any official ties to the University. Each club is managed by an Alumni Graduate Board, Undergraduate Officers (who reside in the clubs), and a Club Manager.

The Princeton University financial aid budget for all juniors and seniors includes an increased board allowance. If you join an eating club, this higher board allowance should make it easier to afford a club meal plan.
