Aug 25, 2022 · Strangely, Powercolor said they weren't able to reproduce the issue, even though one of their test procedures had been consistently failing on my end. That said, they sent another replacement without requiring any pressure. The second replacement has been flawless without any hint of instability or other issues.

Mar 5, 2015 · Powercolor is a second tier manufacturer. I recommend sticking with top shelf manufacturers like ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, Sapphire, XFX and EVGA.

Really weird to see someone else taking the crown. All my life I have known as Sapphire being the King of AMD.

Jan 28, 2023 · Powercolor and Sapphire are the most reputed brands for AMD Gpus.Hellhound is their basic line and benchmarks and thermals are very similar to the amd reference card but not much better. Build quality is partially plastic but at least you wont have the chance of having hotspot issues like the amd one.

Oct 30, 2020 · My first GPU was a Powercolor 7850, which died no more than 2 years into use. When the RMA report from Mindfactory.de was big in the news a few months ago, it showed that Powercolor 5700(XT)s had the highest RMA rate across all of the AMD GPU manufacturers, twice as high compared to models by other manufacturers.

Jun 30, 2022 · In general Sapphire and PowerColor are the best AMD AIB's, but at the entry level everything is pretty much the same. The XFX model performs the same, looks better and is $299 on Amazon, maybe it could still be cheaper after tax and shipping than local stores (where I live that was the cheaper option by a large margin)

Mar 11, 2023 · Where I am, the best value option seems to be between an XFX Speedster MERC310 and a Powercolor Hellhound. Both are available for $800 USD and have a factory overclock (2560 for MERC310 and 2500 for Hellhound).

Dec 19, 2014 · XFX is always a better choice than: Powercolor, Diamond and Visiontek. In terms of performance you'll get pretty much the same, but for a better lifetime build. Go XFX you also get life time warranty for parts and labor. When Powercolor only give 2 years for parts and labor.
