IMO Popoi is a he since he gives that Native American aesthetic vibes around, the long hair being unqueued as an exception. There are many portrayals of mythological races with the Native American aesthetic on media (See Chico from Puyo Puyo~n or the Tauren from Warcraft). I also saw a bit of Upa from Dragon Ball on Popoi too.

Mar 9, 2018 · For the long level 7-8 Popoi magic grind I used the Spring section of the Forest of Seasons. There're 9-12 Silktails here which give 40mp each using Magic Absorb.

Popoi's hidden skill is once again a 20% physical damage buff which stacks with primm's version.

Nov 22, 2019 · Popoi is a larger investment to make really strong, but can end up finding use in probably 99% of fights in the game. Basically, as long as an enemy has a an elemental weakness, Popoi probably got something for them. All of the units are great units if you get them, with Randi probably being the easiest to use and to gear.

Feb 26, 2018 · There is also a way to make Primm and Popoi completely useless (assuming you're controlling Randi). I found this helpful while leveling up Popoi's final magic levels in the Upperland Forest.

Granted, Popoi really be JP's Hyoh, but mage and SLB. Also no tag-chaining or upfront burst, but the damage is similar, and both are 40% imperil field units with 87% breaks. Admittedly, Popoi has the A2 issue of unlocking best burst from SLB, and you want to 150% amp the turn before, so only usable at EX3 for DV.
