RULES OF THE GAME — Polo Noir
A Polo game is played between two teams with three to four players on each side. The members are designated as “attack” or “defense” and each has the job of furthering their own goal tally while preventing the other side from scoring.
DRESS & ETIQUETTE — Polo Noir
dress & Etiquette Attire Part of the fun of Polo is the sophisticated yet celebratory dress code. Typically, people opt for separates and sun dresses, or wear chinos or dress pants with a dress shirt. The Polo spirit is bold – dare to add a splash of color.
PROPERTY & LOCATION — Polo Noir
The Portland Polo Fields are home to the Hidden Creek Polo Club. It is a majestic 88-acre property that is privately owned and maintained. The event will be held on one of the three Polo fields, the Championship Field – 300 yards long by 160 yards wide. This is the equivalent of nine NFL football fields or 10 acres.
