This handicapped accessible building was a gift to the Polo Historical Society by Shaw Printing Co. and houses vintage printing machines along with military memorabilia, surveying tools used to plot the Galena Trail in 1833, historic agricultural tools and many other vintage artifacts.

The society is dedicated to the preservation of memorabilia; oral, photographic, and written histories; and structures and property of significance to the development of Polo, Bufflao Grove, and their surrounding area.

Built in 1853, this building houses Polo artifacts, exhibits and pictures, a collection of Civil War hats, and an extensive genealogical collection. Museum hours are typically on Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Visitors should check the venue’s Facebook page for updates or email to make an appointment any weekday.

The Fair features art and artifacts, as well as special exhibits, demonstrations, and lectures. The Society also hosts several monthly meetings and seminars, and works with local schools and organizations to educate the public about Polo’s history.
