Dec 29, 2020 · I played PoE for the VERY first time ever on PS5 just over a month ago. I am strictly a console gamer and always have been, I wanted to try the game out on PS4 but only lasted about 10 mins due to screen tearing, invisible enemies, etc.

Jul 8, 2021 · It would actually be a tragedy if PS5 version weren't smooth as fuck. It's most likely more powerful than the average system of a PC user and with fixed hardware and software it's magnitudes easier to make the game engine run properly. For PC's there are as many system configurations as there are users. For PS5 it's essentially all the same.

Aug 14, 2022 · On PS4 it had some problems, but on ps5 it's running smoothly. Playing POE on console since release and it's playable. It could need some more love from the Devs (like use skill while moving) but everything else is okay.

Aug 30, 2023 · I have about 500 hours on PC, 3000 hours on PS4 and PS5. Nothing possible in the game on one platform is impossible on the others. The main differences in my opinion: I. Graphics are on a fixed level. You've seen how it looks and know if that bothers you. The game looks better on good PCs, worse on bad PCs.

Aug 16, 2023 · I tend to play something complicated on pc, and mindless on ps5. Depends on mood. Folks that say it doesn’t work are the same as folks that say Poe is dying/killing itself all the time. It’s not what they want, so it’s crap. Console version is a bit different game, but leagues are a bit different each time too, usually.

Jul 29, 2021 · I haven't crashed a single time in two leagues on ps5 as opposed to several times a session, if not more, on ps4. Flasking is a bit awkward if you try to piano them still; having to essentially do fighting game inputs on the dpad, however the new flask rework will let you automate them to your liking once you conquer the rng.
