VX1000 ‒ Measurement and Calibration Interface Hardware - Vector
Attached to the debug interface of the microcontroller, the Serial POD provides direct RAM access through JTAG, SWD, Zipwire or DAP. Its tiny form factor provides a perfect fit for all use cases and environments.

A plug-on device (POD) is connected directly to the controller on the ECU, e.g. via DAP, JTAG, Nexus, Aurora, etc. The POD transmits the data to a base module that acts as an XCP-on-Ethernet interface.

The VX1000 hardware enables measurement and calibra-tion tools such as CANape to access ECUs with high perfor-mance and marginal impact on runtime. It is designed for use in vehicles, but can also be used on test benches and in the laboratory.
VX1000 hardware can be used to monitor bus communication like CAN and FlexRay or can be used to measure internal ECU values via an additionally installed POD. This document describes functionality and shows screenshots of INCA 7.4.7 and VXconfig 4.7.

Configure the VX first, then connect to your ECU! But: You need to write the changes to the Base Module or POD after resolving the inconsistency! Note: Depending on the use case, a selection between one of the two has to be made.
The plug-on device (POD) is connected directly to the AURIX radar microcon-troller via the Aurora interface and 4 LVDS lanes. The POD transmits the data to the VX1135 base module at up to 5 Gbit/s over the Vector High Speed Serial Link (HSSL2).
