Still using my Pixel 2 XL and it's still great. Recently downloaded a custom rom (Pixel Experience) and now I'm running Android 12 on it with the latest security update. It feels like a brand new phone.

Pixel 2 XL is the GOAT Pixel IMO. That is the year where the camera took a big step forward and cemented itself as the best on the market. Combine that with the new great features like squeeze for the Assistant and Now Playing, and the epic Panda design.

My Pixel 2 XL is having trouble switching from wifi to data. I have to reboot the phone (or manually change the Preferred network type to 2g then back to 4g) to have mobile connection, every time I leave home or work.

Jan 6, 2018 · It's the official Google fabric case for Pixel 2 XL, search for that. Those are 2 valid concerns. I have the Carbon ( dark grey) colour, so it doesn't show stains like the lighter colours do. But the cases can be washed with good results. I've been using mine for a few weeks now and haven't had any fraying. But who knows about 2 years from now.

Camera worked fine for most of the day, took many pictures and several videos until Friday evening; it stopped working Friday night a couple of hours after taking the last pictures; phone was not dropped or damaged in any way but the camera stopped working.
