Pius X is a co-ed Catholic high school in Lincoln, Neb. The school is parochial in nature as it serves 19 parishes in and near Lincoln, providing a Catholic-based, rigorous education enriched with numerous opportunities for students to grow their faith, explore the arts, and participate in athletics and other activities.

Pius X High School offers over 100 courses in 13 different departments. Five academic departments offer a total of ten Advanced Placement (AP) courses and 3 dual-credit courses. There are college preparatory and vocational courses available at Pius X to meet the various needs of students.

Pius Connections is a bi-annual publication for alumni, parents and friends of Pius X High School. The magazine features both in-depth articles and brief highlights about Pius X alumni, as well as news stories about current events, students, faculty and staff.

Feb 27, 2025 · The Diocese of Lincoln Catholic Schools has named Jeremy Ekeler as the new chief administrative officer of Pius X High School in Lincoln beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. Ekeler is a 1997 Pius graduate and former teacher and coach at the school who currently serves as executive director of Opportunity Scholarships of Nebraska.

Pius X Catholic High School serves the Lincoln community by providing an affordable, Catholic education in a positive environment. As part of the Pius X family, students deepen their faith and knowledge, and have opportunities to pursue their talents and passions.

Pius X singers, Women’s Choir, Concert Choir and Sotto Voce (tryouts required) are classes, so interested students can sign up for them when registering for classes. Other choirs practice outside of the normal school day.
