Feb 22, 2022 · IndyCar has updated its rule book for the 2022 season, and it includes a change to how Pit Box locations are assigned on pit road. Previously, pit box assignments have been done based on the previous event’s qualifying order, with the highest qualified driver being assigned the pit box nearest the end of pit road.
