Nov 12, 2017 · Cannons should be moderately expensive, cannonballs should be fairly cheap, gunpowder should probably be affordable but not cheap. Since 5e doesn't really give us the tools to determine prices based on in-universe logic, I would recommend pricing your cannons based on how many cannons you want to have around.

Jan 31, 2007 · I think thepirate druid is an awesome concept, full of flavour. after all, doesnt the druid represent the archetype of the strange loner who lives at one with the elements in vast wilderness areas? the spell list for a druid, at first glance seems quite suited to such a campaign. at mid levels, repel wood could be quite interesting, as well as ironwood, find the path, and others.

May 19, 2017 · I'm actually DMing a pirate campaign right now, using the 5e longer rests variant. The key to keeping the plot moving so far has been giving them a clear goal (buried treasure), clear enemies (Nelanther pirates), and clear reasons to get off the boat. I have hit some bumps in the road, though.
