EMR is a single camouflage pattern, developed at 15 Central Research Institute of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation as a universal pattern. Depending on the color palette, it can be adapted to a variety of terrain conditions with good camouflage properties.

It has been produced in a variety of camouflage patterns including summer EMR, Arid EMR, and a solid tan/pink Syria color. 6SH122 Reversible Suits entered service in 2015. [1] . They have been in use by Russian forces in the Syrian Civil War. [3]

The Desert EMR pattern is the replacement to the “pink" uniforms that Russian soldiers were using previously in Syria and other arid countries. It uses several colours in its design and is a digital print.

Jul 14, 2023 · On the first look, this variant of EMR looks very pinkish compared to western desert camos, which maintain mainly sand-like colors. I am curious is this camo really effective, because being honest, it is not very eye-pleasing lol
