Dec 9, 2020 · Just passing on this info. Ping changed their color dot system for lie angle between 2015 - 2017. So green dot in Ping G irons may not be the exact same for green dot in Ping I3 OS. Best people to ask is Ping customer service (800 474-6434, 7am+4pm MST), they are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Jan 15, 2008 · The I3 OS was replaced by the I3+. The I3+ blade replaced the I3. I believe the I3+ series has a 15% larger "tuning port" in the cavity vs the original I3. Can't speak to any changes in offset or size though. It comes down to personal preferences, but the PING folks I talked to say the I3+ is more forgiving than the earlier I3.

Jul 4, 2006 · The I3+ ran the usual Ping lifespan of 2 years. The I3+'s were not removed from the Ping Website until the I5s were released. I believe the earlier I3+ had a problem with trajectory and distance loss, however Ping did address and correct this issue - unfortunately do not know how the problem was corrected.

Dec 9, 2020 · Just bought a set of 3-PW i3+ Blades on eBay in exactly my specs (according to online fitting) at +0.5" and white dot. I'm a little worried they won't be "Game Improvement" enough for me, but I guess we'll find out. Seems the whole i3 series was pretty darn forgiving, and I'm hoping the length and upright lie will help.

Jul 28, 2011 · Ping can refinish your i3's if you want them spruced up. The newer Ping offerings like G15, G10, K15, etc, all have a low CG style w/wide sole. From what I've read, they are very effective irons, but different from your i3's.

Feb 10, 2009 · Have the ISI K right now and hit the I3 OS several times, I contemplated the same switch a few years ago, I would agree with the above advice. Better feeling/looking clubhead with the OS but not much difference in terms of forgiviness if thats what you were wondering. I prefer the JZ stiff shafts in the K's over the CS lite stiff in the O-size.
