Oct 14, 2008 · Thank you very much for your help. I have a person from the feed store that comes out and takes them to the butcher. $65.00 each pig. I will take notes and maybe I can do it myself next time. Being my 1st time I think it best to let a more experianced person do the deed.

If you are going to eat the hog don't make a pet out of it. Go to a good hog farmer and ask some questions, good place to learn. You might buy your pigs their. Don't be in a hurry to buy learn how to raise them first and their needs.
