Whats occuring in Venice beach California fishing pier
Feb 1, 2024 · Ventura Pier and Redondo Pier are way better options, but if you have to go to the Venice Beach tourist trap I guess it is what it is. If you go down to Redondo I believe you need a one day license to fish it, but the others mentioned you don't need one unless there has been a very recent rule change.

Aug 23, 2022 · New fishing buddy of mine is taking me over to Winchester Bay to drop in our crab pots. We are wondering if there are any fish on the pier there? Any tips for rigs/baits to use? I've read that Charleston jetty is better, but we will be sticking to the pier with our pots.

Lake Havasu | IFish Fishing Forum
Oct 18, 2023 · The link below has a link for a downloadable fishing pier map. Regarding species, the differnt fisheries are definitely seasonal. Further, there are day and night fisheries. It's been years since I fished Lake Havasu and then I was mostly fishing from a boat but the Sight Six Launch has/had a very nice covered fishing pier that is lighted.

May 24, 2005 · Port Townsend pier is fair for red rock crab. Kayak Point park north of Marysville may be good for 1-3 crabs during a day of crabbing. Also try Cornet Bay piers and Bowman Bay pier (Deception Pass area) for rock crab and keeper dungies. BB pier was really good about 10 years ago for rock crab, but has been slim pickings in recent years.

How much rope for Newport crabbing pier? - IFish Fishing Forum
Oct 20, 2017 · Fifty feet works, 75 would be better. Make sure they crab on the proper side of the pier with the tides (bay side on incoming, ocean side outgoing). Rings will get swept into the pier with tidal currents and you won't get them back.
Gig Harbor - IFish Fishing Forum
Mar 17, 2022 · You are correct that MA 13 is open for salmon but the big problem is access from Gig Harbor. As you mentioned the Fox Island pier is available and actually several of the piers in MA 11 are open for salmon (see regs). One can rent a boat out of Pt. Defiance but they are small and HP is limited.
Skipanon marina closing? | IFish Fishing Forum
Oct 3, 2022 · I am certain it isn't the city marina but neither of us were sure about which section of the private marina he might be referring to. As I understand it there are three sections there - the slips that are tied in with the old condominiums, the center section owned and operated by the bar pilots, and the pier with the individually owned slips.
Crabing...making floating line sink vs buying new rope
Nov 15, 2010 · So I may be crabbing from a boat! However, each of my rings has 100 feet of that floating yellow polly rope stuff b/c they were set up for the pier. With an opportunity to go off a boat, I know my line needs to sink. Is there a good way to control the 50 foot of excess rope and the fact it floats without just going out and buying a new rope set up?
