The Inca Trail Virtual Challenge takes you 26 mi (42 km) across the Inca Trail in Peru and right through Machu Picchu, one of the new seven wonders of the world. Each time you complete a distance-based exercise such as running, walking, cycling, swimming, etc, you advance along the map of Inca Trail.

Join us on this running adventure of a lifetime as we run to Machu Picchu along the Choquequirao Route (voted as one of New York Times' 52 places to travel in 2024). On this run, we will traverse an incredible Inca highway consisting of over 125 km (77.7 mi) of ancient roads.

Here you will begin in Piscacucho, running through the valleys of Vilcabamba until you finally reach the finish line in Machu Picchu. Runners can choose between both the full 26.2 mile full marathon (42.1km), as well as the shorter 13.1 mile half marathon (21km).
