Pi Kappa Sigma (ΠΚΣ or Pi Kap) was a national collegiate sorority operating in the United States from November 17, 1894, until it was absorbed by Sigma Kappa in 1959. Pi Kap was the first pedagogical sorority.

Phi Kappa Sigma (ΦΚΣ), also known as Phi Kap, Skulls, Skullhouse, or PKS, is an international all-male college secret society and social fraternity. Commonly known as “Skulls”, the name is inspired by the skull and crossbones on the fraternity's badge and coat of arms.

Sigma Kappa is a sorority founded in1874 at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. [1] . In 1959, Sigma Kappa and Pi Kappa Sigma merged, which created many of the Delta series chapters. Also, there are currently three fraternities: Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.; Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. All nine members of the NPHC are interested in re-establishing a chapter on campus if one does not currently exist.
